Ortra, one of Israel’s leading companies in the management and production of professional conferences, exhibitions, and events, is looking for a proactive and motivated Sales & Business Development Representative — someone who knows how to identify opportunities, build business relationships, and move processes forward.
This is a dynamic and meaningful role that combines identifying new business opportunities, managing sales and tender processes, working with clients and suppliers, and preparing tailored proposals for potential clients and partners.

What you’ll be doing:
- Proactively identifying business opportunities – potential clients, suppliers, partnerships, and relevant tenders
- Managing tender processes end-to-end – from identifying relevant opportunities, through gathering materials, to preparing and submitting high-quality proposals
- Building business relationships through meetings, calls, emails, and ongoing follow-up
- Presenting Ortra’s services to clients, suppliers, and potential partners
- Working closely with suppliers, negotiating terms, and building tailored proposals based on client needs
- Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to support business growth
- Using AI tools to streamline workflows, source suppliers, prepare materials, and build proposals
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in sales, business development, or account management
- A proactive, independent self-starter who takes ownership of processes
- Strong ability to identify opportunities and drive business processes forward
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners
- Excellent Hebrew and English, both written and spoken
- A team player with positive energy and a service-oriented approach
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Canva and AI tools — a significant advantage
Advantages:
- Previous experience managing tenders or business development processes
- Experience or familiarity with the conference, events, business tourism, or related industries
- Experience in supplier sourcing, proposal building, and negotiation
- Bachelor’s degree
